Gutted, so so gutted. The guy was a breathe of fresh air, the new guy on the block ruffling feathers and not afraid to race. He looked so gangly on the bike, trying to hide behind the windshield, yet managing to get up there and fight with the best. I truely believe he would have been world champion soon enough.
I've never been that fussed when celebs etc have died in the past, but I guess being a GP fan and getting my licence in March, you can't help but feel a connection. I just want to wind the clock back. I've just got my bike back up and running 5 mins ago but I feel half hearted about going out on it. Yet it's probably the best thing I could do. Such a sad loss. Rest in peace 58. |
