Re: New Sv for 2008?

If an SV was made with an 800 engine and 80-90 BHP, I would SERIOUSLY consider it as my next bike, providing the handling doesn't change TOO much. I love my SV to bits and simply can't afford to do the insurance on an IL4 600 racer for at least another year, which I'd also love to ride.

I honestly can't imagine Suzuki doing that much with the SV though- it works so well as it is and is a great starter bike. I'd like to see more curves and a slightly larger fairing, like my curvy. I really don't like the very minimal fairing on the current bikes- SV, CB, Fazer etc.

I think it would be better if Suzuki spent any R&D time in the materials- so they last a bit longer...

True!

I think I might miss the sound of the V Twin though. The V4 does have a good sound to it, also smoother running too. BUT a V Twin grumble is lovely!, or should that be rumble!?

How about a V4 then? Shouldn't Suzuki give us a road version?

Do you honestly think they could manufacture a V4 and fit it into something like the SV frame and make it newbie friendly?
