Tbh the bike's been a filthy, muddy mess all week as I've been using it to go to jobs. The roads around here are absolutely covered in a layer of sh!t as a number of farms are either ferrying slurry about or getting the last of the maize cut. They never bloody well clean up after them either. Add a good selection of hedge flailings into it and you can understand my disgruntlement.

Awesome ride to work, was neither wet nor greasy. Heated grips on, passed a van I usually meet and met no other traffic in 17miles

More of this please :)

Those hedge flailings with thorns on the road can be deadly to bicycle tyres, and not too good for cars and motorbikes either. Those flails make such a mess of the hedge, after a while some hedges begin to look a bit splintered, the damage flails do must lead to a lot of disease getting into the wood.

Had a pain in my knee for about 2 or 3 months then last week it went mad and I couldn't walk. Booked to see the consultant and got an appointment today.
Woke up and now there is no pain or stiffness.
Bloody typical. He'll think I'm making it up!

Something might still show up on x-ray or ultrasound scan thing.

Also, if you want something done about it, don't hold back. If they think you can manage it without intervention they'll let you get on with it.

Had a bad fall Saturday evening.
Broke my left leg in three places.
After surgery last night now have a rod, a nail (?) and some screws in my leg.
They say it may be 6 weeks before i can start putting weight on it again.
Going to be in the hospital a few more days. :(

Yikes. How did you manage that. Get well soon.
