It is feasible to do as you plan and do just the weekend. But I'm sure you'd enjoy it more if you could spend the Monday up there and come back Tuesday. Think of it as a mini break or something. :)

Yep, straight boring route up the motorway the second time, but we got there unstressed and missed the dreaded Glasgow commuter traffic. Bit of a grind but worth it for the Celtic experience (the roads and scenery I mean :D )

Sundays ride might turn out to be a bit of a non-event, although nothing has been decided yet, but there would be nothing stopping you going off with some others and exploring. The area we are staying in is truly lovely.

Downside will be, you'll be doing around a 1,000 miles, so £100-110 worth of fuel plus dosh for socialising and stuff. Sharing a wigwam may be an option too.

Thanks Pete. Ive been looking into it today and, due to having to get back for the kids, we would have to go up friday and come back monday. But we would probably spend sunday bimbling about by ourselves and chilling a bit, thats a lot of miles in 4 days! Ive just spoken to the campsite and we could do the wigwam thing friday and sunday nights but saturday would have to be camping or b&b. Im waiting for Jeff to check its ok with his work but i think we're definitely going to try and do it. Im really excited, thanks to you, Lissa and Seggons for your input.

I bet the Saturday night wigwams will all be booked by Org-ers anyway. May be possible to combine your bookings into one, if you don't mind sharing with someone else for one night?

Ahhhhh early finish tomorrow :) I like fridays, especially fridays where my belved comes to see me :)
What are all your weekend plans?

For me, I'm picking Izi up from MK train station tomorrow, then back to my sisters for a little while before home/ dinner/ a drink or two/ giving her a good thrashing,
Saturday is lunch in town, followed by cinema, followed by seeing Ezio and Booga in Cambridge with my parents. Sunday I don't plan on doing much, as I turn the ripe old age of 20 :)
