Not yet I cant wait to try it out, I'm waiting on a longer chain and the 20th for my next trackday.
That's not bad at all, 6 years out of a Chinese battery!!.

I fitted a quickshifter today :D Was easy except I'm not very neat with the wiring under the tank but hopefully only I'll see it. Top bit of kit, like the sound of full throttle upshifts :smt068

I did that last weekend, glad I did as they were barely finger-tight ...

This....

...my wife's GSF400.

Turning it from a wrenchmonkee style cafe racer into a chopper/cruiser kind of affair as she's developed arthritis in her neck and can't cope with low clip ons any more.

Lowering links on the back, pushing the forks down at the front, new seat pad, riser clamps and ridiculous handlebars.....

What have you tinkered with today?

Been a busy few days.
Fitted a gsxr 750 radial master cylinder, hoping for a bit more braking power.
Picked these up from eBay, includes the Harris levers.
The dbl bango was of course the wrong pitch so I'm waiting on a replacement.
Clutch lever wouldn't fit the std Clutch perch so picked one up from a K7.
Of course, the bar end screws were seized so needed drilling out. R&G replacements on their way.
Clutch ignition switch wouldn't fit so the spade connectors needed to be freed from the housing. Refitted and filled with some silicon.
Front brake light stopped working, thankfully it was the switch and the replacement works perfectly.

Next up R6 throttle tube, No pics. A bit of a pain reattaching the cables at the pulley, probably because I didn't bother detaching at the carb.
Renthal dual compound grips on the way.
Then came my nemesis, the DR140 belly pan install. I bought this direct from the manufacturer rather than through eBay saving a small fortune.
Belly pan needed a lot of filing and some cutting in order to fit. As did the universal brackets. No match for the Dremel.

All in all but to bad to fit. Wish the manufacturer would make model specific fitting brackets though.

Finally a tidy up of the exhaust hanger botch.
The idea will be to have something made up to go back to the pillion peg mounts but until then this will do.

Decided not to trade in my pointy, so doing lots of little bits to give her a sprucing up.

So, a smoke black double bubble screen and new fork springs have been done, and have ordered some mirror extenders from Chewy's as I've been promising to sort them out for ages!
