Quit my job today, fudging brother in law. Fingers crossed I now don't have to see the plonka very often.

Still it meant I got to go for a nice run in the sunshine.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

I am enrolled on a plumbing course that starts in Jan, hopefully it'll lead to something else. I was supposed to be working a little longer, but quitting today couldn't be helped. He's a grade A+ tosser.

I have a list of jobs to do at home, that I never had time for. Once I have concoured these I will look into some kind of Chrimbo temp work. Luckily I have a little savings and my wife is really busy with her work. So there is a little wiggle room.

Who knows, if it doesn't work out I'll come up with another plan until it does.

But at least I am free!!!

A job as a plumber presumably. Isn't there a shortage of qualified plumbers ?
As well as other skilled tradespeople (or what ever the correct terminology is nowadays !)
Good luck anyway.

Good on ya SG. I was so relieved when I walked away from a toxic job, even though my plan B was not thought out in any way. Your mental wellbeing is worth looking after and sometimes a clean break is the best action.
