Thankfully the lane keeping aid on my Focus remains in the setting last selected (off in my case). Used to have it in warning mode which vibrates the wheel but I found it irritating - did not bother trying the "active" setting that tries to steer for you.
Adaptive cruise control makes motorway driving easier so I use that a lot but you need to be wary if some git cuts you up as it really anchors on the brakes if it gets worried! I keep the pedals covered at all times just in case. And the traffic sign reading is getting better. My current Focus does not spot the speed limiter stickers you often get on European lorry trailers and tell me I'm in a 100mph zone, unlike my last Focus. |
