Yesterday had a lovely bimble down the Tryweryn on 16 cumecs (i.e. high release). Made a pigs ear of a high cross in the graveyard and proved my roll still works :smt045. A great day out on the river with my lad.

Today I was mostly showing sportsbikes how it's done :smt077

That does look nice, my dads next door neighbour had one in that colour, its the best colour I think.

Ed I can't believe you went all the way to Fowlers to buy that, thats some trip, and then you didnt tell any of us ere locals that you were going so we could have had a meet up :D

Did you sample the fry up in the cafe upstairs, its normally really good

You bet!! Orgasmic n fact:p

Day one and I'm going insane hearing distant bikes on the A5. And the bloke in the house that backs onto the house across the road from me has an SP2. Bub-bub-bub-bub-bub-bub........

Fizz - yep the deal was unbeatable, and I did try near and far. Sorry, I should have thought to tell you. I had a bacon sarnie and a coffee up in Harry's. The sarnie was excellent - bloody great doorstop with lots of fat dripping down, artery clogging stuff but I didn't care - but I'm sure the coffee was really the wash up water.

Been out both days this weekend. Roads dryer than they've been for months, it seems, but still cold with a sheen of moisture, and loads of muck in the middle of the lanes too. Had a 4th gear 65mph wheel spin/sideways moment accelerating fairly gently through a right hander on Thursday too, and one at slightly lower speed in 3rd gear shortly before that. So basically I rode like a pansy all weekend and treated every single corner like it was slippy unless I knew otherwise. Moments like those boost confidence when you realise you dealt with it okay, but it's not something I enjoy at the time.

Very very very nice bike Ed, I'm jealous ;)

My parents, trusting as they are, have gone away for the entire week of my 18th birthday. Dad didn't even take the viffer keys with him, so I might have to have that out for a bimble at some point unless I can get mine on the road this week :D

I'm liking the new suspension and the dry roads, has given me the oportunity to push my bike to see what it's capable of.

Had a few scary slide/wobble moments on damp patches etc. but all were predictable and gentle!

Roll on the warmer weather and some new rubber!
