If you have a high rev'in twin, like the kitted SP2 and the fully kitted RSV a 2-2 will be the exhaust to go for. Other than that go for a 2-1.


I hate this so called well documented fact, yet again MCN spreading more BS without looking into the real facts!

You can have a carbon can on a twin, look at the early WSB 916 and 996. If you make the sleeve out of quality carbon fibre like Akrapovic, Remus, M4 and Termignoni you won't have any problems. The "carbon fibre is no good for twins" crap comes from budget exhaust companies who use pi**-poor super thin carbon fibre manufacturing techniques. This is what causes the carbon to crack, not the v-twin pulses but the poor quality carbon sleeve.

Thats the point that I was making.....more BS about Carbon breaking!!!!

Also, I was talking about the OE system, and aftermarket pukka FULL systems, like Akropovic, etc etc......Not just an end can!!! ;)
