i agree with what you are saying but i never sead i did it to every single car i came across, its usualy the ones that pull out to block your path so they alleady have a problem with bikers

Probably because someone knocked his mirror off in the past.

The typical person to perform plonker like actions like blocking a bike is Mr Rep in a 3 Series BMW with 2.4 children and a pants life. He is probably sat in his car stressed about life in general and will get to work wound up, have a crap day then go home and beat his wife and children.

If you just ignore his plonker like antic, smile to yourself and move on you will feel much better for it and wont feel the need to post about road rage on a forum.

I see road rage alot on my commute, I have recently seen white van man break nova boys jaw... all of it completely unecessary, he will no doubt now have a criminal record and feel like a complete plonker.

How do you know that though, they might have genuinely made a mistake.

I've done it before in the car I moved across on a biker. He wasnt very happy and I was bl**dy mortified that I had done it. Luckily I didnt cause him to much trouble, luckily he decided that my wing mirror looked nice on my car and left it where it was.

but i bet you were not on the phone, if they pull out and are doing it to just be a tw*t then im not going to do any thing if they do it because they dont use there mirrors EG indicate thne pull side on in to me then im going to take some form of action the same when they do it on the phone weather it be because they are been bloody minded or just not concentrating on the road

Barwel, I missed the bit where you became an officer of the law. Kicking another persons pride and joy because they are doing something illegal that could cause an accident is wrong mate.

Say you've uprated your bulbs to an illegal set of bulbs on your bike and I see you dazzle another road user and when you stop I walk over to your bike and snap your wing mirror off, I'll know I'm totally in the right in your mind ;)

I hope that wasn't aimed at me ... but the post actually recognises that its a waste of time and energy .... and I'm venting on here rather than someones wing mirror !!! :smt048

When I ride home tonight I will consider this forum argument and probably pee myself laughing all the way home .....

Completely see your point LK-SV, riding around/in London is a nightmare. Recently though, when filtering at low speeds, I try and look at people's right front wheel a reasonable distance away, and keep giving it a quick little glances as I pass. I've found this to save my butt a number of times. The second I see a hint of a wheel turn, I'm off that throttle.

Other than that, the beef that has ensued on this thread is friggin hilarious!

For a little light relief I got properly carved up by the Bin truck in the Pug this morning. It appeared in my Mirrors. Obligatory soft toy chained to the grill & half a skelengton swinging from the back. I'm hoping it was plastic...:help:
