Re: Best Ride out routes for the Pennine Massive
Wanting to do much more exploring of the Dales this summer - I've been once so far, and that was in the car - Always seem to end up in Derbyshire/Lincolnshire or Sherburn or towards Cat and Fiddle!!
So will keep watching on here for more routes - will experiment with some of TonyS's routes. :smt023 |

Re: Best Ride out routes for the Pennine Massive
Here's one we did a bit back.
Starts near Cltheroe, up through Settle and dales, round to the Bridge onto an ice cream/cake stop (fantastic btw) then onto Kirkham way. http://goo.gl/maps/Bz9ZS |
Re: Best Ride out routes for the Pennine Massive
Another one, this one I missed, but as theboatman normally picks good routes, thought I'd stick it on anyway.
Clitheroe, Ripon, Hawes, Settle, Clitheroe https://www.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=...via=1,2,3&z=10 |
Re: Best Ride out routes for the Pennine Massive
Quick potter up round the bridge bit twisty and bits where you can stretch it's legs
http://goo.gl/maps/XQPxa That's me done for a bit, although there's another in the offing. |
Re: Best Ride out routes for the Pennine Massive
With such a beautiful day, we had to go and enjoy a ride. And what a ride, Newcastle to the Scottish Border through the A696 and back on the A697.
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/ed...g.kcQ-8PUQOASo And we were not the only one enjoying this beautiful settings! |
