Only takes a min to ring them and they were very nice.

I'm most probably not able to make it now, do you reckon I should ring them to let them know? I won't know myself for definite until thursday night/friday morning.

We don`t know the reason for them wanting to know numbers but if this is what they`ve requested then I think we need to respect their wishes. It could be something as simple as knowing how many pints of milk or barrels of ale to buy in but whatever the reason we need to be courteous. At the end of the day it only takes a few minutes to make a phone call and i`d hate for anyone to arrive and not be able to pitch up.

i fully agree, but if someone decided at the last minute to go then i doubt that they would be turned away. its only manners to phone and book and i think everyone has.
