You sure about that? Even with NCD not a factor declaring a claim is surely going to increase the price.

My traders policy allows 2 claims a year but with proportional NCD reduction dependent on price of claim... as an example.

all i can say is there is no ncd with my footman james rider policy,so wether i had 1 or 5 years ncd when i started with then the price would have been the same, and also unlike some other policies there are no milage restrictions,so i could do in theory do 20k on each bike with out altering the premium

If you make a claim does it become a pain?
They would all loose ncd .

No idea, never claimed in ten yrs of riding!

depens what you call cheap,as i said before i insure 6 bikes fully comp for about £360,and thats includes a blade a vfr and 1200 bandit, and if i claim on the insurance there isnt any no claims discount so the price is the price, and so nothing to loose if i claim

I don't think this last year's premium was bad. Some people refuse to insure the VRaptor1000 let alone multiquote it. £217 fully comp with 120 excess for that and the SV. Bearing in mind a new set of indicator pods is 400 quid per side, that's flippin marvellous :)
I had two and the Rap for £340 a couple of years back, and I still don't find that expensive.
Peg has the cheapest insurance for his amongst his ZX14r forum companions. Somewhere around 270. It was similar renewal to last year.

Just had my renewals for my two bikes, seperate policies but same date.

Swinton has just quoted me £371.00 on renewal for my sprint, higher than last years policy, extra years ncd, so ive just done a go compare and found at least 10 companies over £100 cheaper.

One of them being MCE, did i read these were a bad company to deal with or have got mixed up with somebody else?

Mce, have a mixed bag of reviews. From experience, Peg hasn't had issue, even got recovered twice in a day when he had an ignition fault on the Zzzr. Firstly they got him started here, then he had the same issue 100 miles from home, so they loaded it up in a van and delivered him to Orwells. He's never had to claim though :/

As for you Chris, I've been riding motorcycles since 2003, regardless of what you would like to wind me up with so FERRRK OFF! I don't need reminding that my riding has taken a back seat since having my second child.
