I'll rephrase to a more accurate "future saleability and value would be severely affected". I suppose that doesn't matter to everyone. Cheap track bike maybe?

I dont thing its a result yet. there is still a dispute over liabilty at the moment so i have to wait and see how that pans out. the frame isnt damaged at all so maybe Ill end up sending it to South Africa as bike parts so I can have a bike there.

Hence not agreeing to anything before it goes through your solicitor and other claims like clothing and helmet have been addressed. It is a good start though!
