he knew this, he still did it yet for some reason he thinks he should now have some god given right to avoid the consequences of this or taking responsibility for his actions. :?

there is only one person responsible for this entire situation and the law will take a dim view on his behaviour. personally id accept the ban/fine and be grateful they werent throwing the book at me as they could have done.

Of course that only applies to speeders though, dangerous drivers who kill other road users can get away with a caution, kids who burgal can get nice holidays abroad to help improve their attitudes and not forgetting that a government minister can steal an entire company from its shareholders, admit to lying to do so and walk around with impunity
