Must start getting my camera out more often again...
Have been out this morning trying to snap the newts I've spotted in my pond but the little buggers are really camera shy. |

Hardly been the weather to take any nice photos.

Re: The all new, slap bang up to date 2018 photo a day
If I do have to take shots in this weather I normally shoot black and white.

Not done much shooting either. Miserable weather doesn't help

Road over Johnson Mountain today.
Luckily it warmed up enough to help clear the roads this afternoon. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4788/3...e21c7910_b.jpg |

Took my camera to the Photo Show today but hardly used it. There were a few set scenes for people to have a go at but they were four of five deep so I walked on past. See my Gripe entry about the oddballs in Cosplay also at the NEC - I deliberately took NO pics of those irritating corridor blockers.

First real ride on the SV since I broke my leg in November.
It was only 60 miles but a pleasant ride on our first warm sunny day in a while so i couldn't resist. Mostly on small country lanes to avoid traffic and keep the speed down. Wearing jeans and trainers is not my favorite way to ride a motorcycle but still unable to get the hulk foot (still swollen) into a boot or anything other than an 'wide as they make them' size trainer so it was a good ride for lazy shifting as the big foot proved a bit clumsy at times. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/805/27...73b0df1d_b.jpg |
