I suggest that we camp right next to the best brewery in the country.

Bah, another AR practically in France. Suppose I'll still be there.

Huh? Masham is nowhere near France...

Not been to that bit of the country before, I'm looking forward to the usual level of boozy tom foolery from Mr Hovis and also exploring some new roads.

Excellent

+1 (but not that Hovis bit :-D). Might make a few days of it either side of the rideout as been wanting to visit Holkham Hall and beach for a couple of years having read an article in Ride magazine. Good choice :smt023

You do know Holkham Beach is a nudist beach, don't you? I was thinking of arranging a trip there for the more enlightened orgers.

Ah the Baldock to Buntingford road A303 is it? Lovely. First conquered my fear of sharps bends there. Got that sticky tarmac stuff on some of them I was told. Don't know if it's true but it upped my confidence levels

A507 is the Alps road.

Baldock to buntingford is good yeah, got to get your overtakes in before the double whites each time otherwise it's frustrating. I haven't managed a clear run on it yet!

You're not planning your overtakes and corners right then.

It's a wonderful road that seperates the men from the boys when you ride it fast

It'll be easier IMHO to keep the distance down to 120 miles or an SV tankful.

This does all very much depend on where exactly the campsite will be. East Anglia is quite a large expanse of land taking in a few counties. I used to live in Flitwick, and my ex was on the North Norfolk coast at Mundesley - it would take me 2 hours to travel the 130 miles there. Both of us were in East Anglia.

The brewery is just up the road from me.
I'll be up for it. Maybe no the over night though as our next little one is due to arrive in the next few weeks and two kids under two would be hard to leave behind (I know, soppy git!)
