Didn't exactly do well on that one. Forgetting to sub a RBR driver for Barichello was a mistake.

Timo Glock (10th and +1lap) was the "best component" of Monaco. More points for having a crap weekend and overtaking the back-markers during the race.

"Each driver will generate +2 points for every position gained from their starting position on the grid to their final placing."
OK
"If a driver climbs more than 8 positions between their grid and finishing positions they will receive a bonus +10 points."
OK, but I don't agree with rewarding bad qualifying with the potential to score like that.

"If a driver does not gain/lose any places from starting grid to race finish he will be awarded +5 points. "
Huh? So with 10pts for 1st place, and 8pts for second, it's better not to overtake anyone than to overtake the leader?

No bonus points for laps led, fastest lap, no big win bonus (2pts) and that's the objective really isn't it?. No penalty for being lapped and stupid points scoring systems for qualifying too: Which drivers goes all out for the fastest time in quali 1? (15pts) Or even quali 2? (10pts) Meaningless laptimes to qualify for the next session. 5pts for the pole position seems like an afterthought.

/sore loser :) Bit daft though innit? Could be better.

I had Vettel and Webber... fail.

Strange how you can have a Brawn 1+2 with the same engine and constructor and come away with bugger all :p

Read the scoring system. It's basically a lottery, you don't want to pick the drivers that do well all weekend, building to a pole position and lights to flag win- you want the ones that do great in quali 1, crash in quali 2 and then make their way forward from the back of the grid after a gearbox change but don't score a single WDC point.

Nonono i read it ages ago and understand it fully... i'm just like the guy up top, sore loser.

I've been expecting the Brawns to get hammered in quali as they've been caught up by... loadsa teams, but yeh again they go and put them on the front two rows... which leaves me with sod all.
