Yes you can. It comes with a long ethernet cable and anything with a HDD has a month free trial.

LOL the verry first batches of xbox360s was faulty mainly the ones without HDMI then M$ changed the boards and most of them are fine now i have 2 PS3's and 3 Xbox360's and none of the xbox360 have broken yet and 1 of them is over 3 years old ....
But the one of the ps3 failed 2 months out of warrenty .... ?? which i fixed my self at a cost of 80 quid for a new BR drive,

As an owner of both consoles i say at the moment the Xbox360 is a better console
1.) Better online
2.) Better games
3.) Flashable to played backups

the only good things i can say about the ps3 at the moment is
1.) Bluray
2.) you can put linux on it
3.) its got more future potential than the 360 due to the massive space that can be held on the Bluray disks compared to the DVD DL disks that the xbox uses, and the hardware is a little more powerful.

But as an owner of both i think the Xbox rules the Ps3 as it stands ....
my ps3's are barly used only for blue ray ....

PS3 need to release some decent games and start charging for there online services inorder to improve them laggy $#ity servers .

i own both but i have to say i only use the xbox for games, everything else such as photos, music, dvds, bluerays etc the ps3 is used for as it is much much better at it. Then the ps3 also has the internet browser, so it can do youtube and the bbc iplayer, it can play more formats of video than the xbox and after playing the xbox for a long time and then turning on the ps3 i instantly notice how quiet it is and the picture it produces is much much clearer than the xbox, if you are intending to keep the console for the next few years id reccomend the ps3, as its starting to pull away now in terms of what its capable of! (look at assassins creed 2 screenshots comparing)

oh and gran turismo 5 coming out in march (im still not overly sure the game exists they could be lieing to us......) the graphics in it kicks forza 3s bottom

Xbox for games due to the shear choice, pc for everything else.
