I'm sure you're capable but if you get too many points you'll lose your licence, simples...just saying...I think you're best staying on the SV like me for a bit longer...

You just need to know when and where to give it some, remember the golden rules in a 30 do 30, in a 40 do 40, in a 50 do 50 and in 70 as long as it's clear do xxx - enter number here.

What bike I have will make no difference tbh. If it goes over 70 I'm able to get points  to be honest my points have been accrued for stupid things. 3 for going through a red light (11:30 at night, had just turned red and no one was about other than an unmarked traffic cop), 3 for going a bit too fast in a 40:smt083 (which I now don't do really), 3 for going 90 on the A14 at 10:30pm on a sunday night again with an unmarked traffic cop and then the final 3 points were for not going fast enough really... :smt083
I've realised over the years that there isn't really any point going quicker than you should in areas that are less than 50 or 60. It's the main place where people get caught, and I've never ever seen a policeman with a speed gun round any twisties... so kinda goes to prove that it's where the 'quicker' riding should be done - Just gotta watch out for those unmarked police bikes we now have patroling!. Now I've got a slower car too it helps keep the speed down also.
