For my 50th birthday I got
12year old Bruichladich
Scapa 12YO
Jura malt blend.
The Scapa wins, I normally need a drop of water in the craitur but this one is nectar.

Scotch and Irish for sure but not American. Can't speak for English, Japanese, Finnish, etc...

You make whisky not whiskey & nobody is stealing it, we are now producing our own which will leave more of yours for you, anyhow the art of distillisation was invented in Asia around 800BC to make perfume, the Chinese then started to use the process to make spirit from rice, this process was bought back to Europe by the Moors, it was then taken to Ireland by St Patrick in 432AD so i guess you stole it from the Irish anyway, besides we gave you trousers so stop ya moaning!

Oh nice choice! He has his uses then...

I emptied my bottle of Balvenie very recently - I may have to invest in another as it was really nice!

Yep, not the best one out there, although someone else may love it, each to their own. its very simple, no real aftertaste and generic.

re luckypants balvenie post earlier, if anyone is coming through duty free try to get your hands on a balvenie golden cask, you can only get it duty free or at the distillery. (if you like balvenie that is) its a 14yo that is as complex and full aof character as the 21yo but as smooth as the 12yo if a little sweeter..
