Re: Ghost bikes
Been looking at changing my Futura for a commuter (sitty up type) for blatting through the Glasgow jams, The dealers guff trade-in prices for high mileage doesn't really stand when you look at the price of the bikes they are selling. Was looking at a few different bikes and there was only £150 quid betwen 7k and 15k mile bikes. Last year i paid £4k for the Futura, same dealer offered me £2k for it with me only putting 750 miles on it, 14950 aint high for an 04 sport tourer.
He didn't like the reply i gave him.. You just want to make 1200 quid on my bike plus whatever you bumped the other owner for, Fork you springs to mind! :smt093 |

The Ducati 748 i had a few years back was bought from Coventry. Wasn't any for sale up here, and it cost .. a few quid to hire a van* and derv. There's a few older Fut's in shops that I've seen recently all about £3k. Had a new trade offer of £2200, but at that price the power commander and screen will be whipped off and sold on ebay! Seen a bike I like.. so might just bite the bullet soon :( (*Before anyone pulls the softy card out.. we were burried in snow when i bought it! Much the same as we were last week! ;)) |
Re: Ghost bikes
Ah, sorry Ed. But I had a 09 Tiger with 3K on the clock and a 58 DRZ with 1500 on the clock.......
Anyone want to buy a DRZ?? |
