Me too. I did all my lessons and tests between October and the New Year all those years ago, and rode in all weathers before the summer came. It made me much more aware of the road conditions and what to watch out for in the wet. My observations are much better as a result and summer riding is much easier and quicker to get into. The only time I don't ride is if there's ice or snow on the road. Or much during the summer holidays as I'm not commuting then.

Ridin on ice and snow before, had to, no public transport

Ipswich to Felixstowe on a CX500 on ice.

Ridin in snow after getting caught by overnight snow at the April Showers rally in the early eighties.

Character building stuff :p

These days I'll get in the car thanks very much

Scratch that just google mapped it. As much as I love you all, 260 mile round trip for chips in December, is just OTT.
