I did a lot of reading back then, on many many religions (how many people have heard of Pseudepigrapha - without looking it up in google?).

Do you have links to sources to substantiate any faith? Or is it merely knowledge passed along the line?

Please note, I'm not meaning to offend anyone, just putting across my own opinion, based on the things I have read in the past. Why base an entire societies thinking on one book?

Didn't Pope Gregory do a lot of alteration to the bible too?

or indeed allow the development of the honda benly ?

Numerous heads of religion have done this over time.

I also believe that the Bible* is the world's oldest story book and I wish I could have 0.01% of its overall sales figure :!: :)

(*) Insert whichever book of whatever religion you follow in this space, I still wouldn't mind a cut of its takings ;)

Wasn't it actually Yahushua?

The term "Jesus" comes from the translation into Greek/Latin from Hebrew. "Jesus" carries no specific meaning in Hebrew. It was translated as "Iesous" in greek, then "Iesus" in latin. Then when translated to English became "Jesus."

Yahushua liberally means Messiah in Hebrew.

He was born into the house of David though.
