Great pace, and properly hilly, too.

Thanks. That first third of a mile is a bit of a killer!

Out yesterday morning for a run as part of the Powys Canicross Virtual Challenge.

This is organised by one of the Powys Canicross members to raise money for Greyhound Rescue and the idea is to run 5k, 10k, or half marathon and post times, Strava link, and a selfie with your canine running accomplice.

I did the 10k, thought I was doing well and discovered when I got back that it was actually a pretty crap pace. I stopped the bar in at just over 6 miles but couldn’t work out how to start a fresh recording for the last mile and a half home.

Anyway, unless I run a better time before the end of the month I’ll submit this effort to the Challenge.

Nice run but very warm.

I managed to get out for a run last night - I didn't cycle to work - and I thought I know, it's pretty muggy, why not do some hill reps! It was really hard work, but enjoyable.

Cycled into work the long way today, 30 miles before breakfast - well Tea Break at 10.

I think Asics might have lost the plot. Bargain, I'll get two.

All it is is a piece of cloth and they want £35 for because it's got Asics on it!

First run for ages. Took it steady on my regular 3.6 mile short loop. Really need to start getting out on a regular basis again.

I got a bike so I don't think I'll be running much anymore. I prefer the no impact nature of it. No risk of injury other than getting run over

Quite the right thing to do in my view, would just be better if it was a mountain bike and off road, then you wouldn't be having to worry about any muppets in cars causing you injury..... :o

Darren, I too am currently spending more time riding my road bike than running. Enjoy.

Oh and level off that saddle before you do yourself an injury.
