Leather Softener
I have a leather jacket which i`ve never worn mainly cos the leather is so stiff its almost uncomfortable, don`t feel i can move properly in it. Has anyone any ideas on how i can soften the leather?? are there any products available to do this. Many thanks

Re: Leather Softener
You could try Neatsfoot oil, it works a treat on hiking boots.

Re: Leather Softener
+ 1 on the Renapur, I used it on a set of gloves that had gone stiff and it returned them to a nice supple state again.

Re: Leather Softener
Renapur is good, but there are other makes as well, in fact just about anything with linseed oil in it will do (don't use window putty though :( ).

Re: Leather Softener
Years ago somebody used to swear by something called Mars Oil , was used on horse saddles etc . They even reviewed it in a bike mag and the guy said he put too much on and it turned a pair of Gaerne boots into flip flops lol
