Odd things happen

Ok so I have my Direct Access coming up at the end of the month and with that in mind I popped up to Exeter to have a look and see what they have in the way of SV's and possibly thinking of sorting something out over next few weeks. So yeah had a wander round and a chat and they were very helpful and have ended up putting down a deposit on a bike today, only its a GSX-R600.

LOL oh well, :P

LOl, I checked before I did anything... the insurance is only 50 quid more than for an sv

You're an old man!

Assuming you've no other experience of biking, whatever you do, get some crash bungs and sign up to IAM.

There is a high possibility you WILL drop it, either at speed or simply moving it. The statistics also show that you are at greater risk during your first two years of biking than at any other time.

Nice bike and welcome to the club!

Nice bike (already has crash bungs I see :D )

To quote Camp Freddy in the Italian Job

"Please be very careful !" , Have fun :D

very nice ...but seriousley take it easy ,,theyre v.quick
secretly jealous

warden1974 03-05-06 09:51 AM

Heh,

Yeah I will take it easy, cos I am like 6ft and 16ish stone i was told that although the SV is a great bike (and i do like it a lot) and would make a perfect first bike that I might out grow it a bit in 6 months and i dunno if i could afford to change then. So thought the GSX would be a good alternative and just take it easy for a while.

Discuss :)

Oh yeah forgot to say because I was a little unsure Bridge are letting me change my deposit onto another bike if I decide that this snt for me, am going up to have another look at it on Friday and probably make the decision then so you know any thoughts are most welcome.

Nice one!

We all know an IL4 is better than a V-twin.......

only joking  , as long as it has 2 wheels and an engine it's all right by me!

Enjoy the bike :riding:
