AR10 - The Hovis TT.

I notice a few Ecosse names on the list for AR10.

Anyone from up here still thinking of going?

Nah am broke after buying new bike, fitting new bathroom, and buying a new fridge since my other one blew up last week :(

Fingers crossed nothing else breaks so a can save my pennies for some leathers, new tyres and fuel for Dot. She has a drinking problem already and only been out on her 4 times lol

Hi

I am going (as usual).

What's your current plan. All the way down on the Friday or are you intending to break it up?

combatfred 27-05-10 02:26 PM

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

I've got permission from work and wife, so will be something off the radar that messes this up.

I've a lack of holidays, so I'm stopping work at 12 on the Friday and heading down straight from work. My plan for the return is an early departure on Monday to go straight into work (start at 1:50pm).

What you doing BF?

Blue Flame 27-05-10 02:56 PM

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

My current plan is to leave early on the friday morning to get to the campsite at a decent time as it's a fair trek down. As you are on the Busa I would imagine you will catch up with me around half way down. :p

Exactly when I head back up will be weather/funds dependant.

We can exchange plans/numbers nearer the time and maybe catch up on the way there. I see KG and JamesMio are ont he list also, so we'll resurect this after GM.

Take it easy.

I'm still a floating voter on this - I do fancy it but it'll all depend on what's still needing done to the house by that point...

Cumfy 06-07-10 12:23 PM

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

I have got the time off for it but don't think I will ahve sorted out the lack of bike situation by the AR so am happy to be a Spearie support vehicle or if anyone else needs kit picked up, am happy to help if possible.

Cheers

PS have a focus so don't go taking the whole house!

I'm thinking of going down in the car mid morning Friday. We've got a couple of beds if anyone want a Thursday night stopover.

That's a kind offer Bri, but I'm stuck in work on Friday morning so leaving here at noon.

See you there.

I'm a definate no now - unfortunatley the finances will not let me stretch that far - maybe next year

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

Current plan is to leave Friday night and travel down overnight. However the wife let slip some info last night that may alter this (leaving earlier not later)

I'm a no too I've got Cadwell park at the end of August so have to save holidays and funds for that!!!

JamesMio 16-07-10 06:49 PM

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

Any updates on this one yet kids? I've actually got no real reason not to go at this point, other than it's a ball-ache of a ride down and I'll probably not get away until 5pm on the Friday... Might see if MBK would mind lugging my camping stuff in her car actually, that would certainly help matters a great deal!

Milky Bar Kid 16-07-10 07:12 PM

Re: AR10 - The Hovis TT.

If I am taking the car (which I probably will be) then yeh, no bother.
