Pub (5th June)
So far (I've cursed it now) the weather is looking good for next week so is anyone game for some food, drink and general chinwagging in the evening air?
Usual location (Farmers arms at Kelsall) seems appropriate but speak up all ye BPers! |
Re: Pub (5th June)
Sounds good to me Brett :) See you there.

Re: Pub (5th June)
I'll show my face and likely grab a bite to eat from there as well.

Re: Pub (5th June)
Daughter is coming for dinner before she disappears for 3 months again, so I cannot make it.
Have a good time folks! |

Re: Pub (5th June)
Home safe, thanks for a nice evening guys!
I would say ravenwire led my stepdaughter astray but I'm not sure who was leading who! Very funny evening though and good to catch up with you all! |
Re: Pub (5th June)
Haha was a good evening nice to see a few more come down. Think we need to sort a ride out in the near future
|
Re: Pub (5th June)
When you say "near future" hows everyone fixed for this weekend? weather is supposed to be reliable, weekend after might not be so favourable but it may turn out nice.
I'm pondering an homage to Mister C's Chippy run, from J17 M6 to Buxton and back. Chips in Buxton and ice cream at Rudyard lake with time after to have your Saturday afternoon & evening. Worth posting a thread or is everyone busy? |
Re: Pub (5th June)
Sounds good. I'd be up for it and think Steve would be too. Especially if there are chips involved!
|
Re: Pub (5th June)
Next 2 are out for me, camping this weekend then fundraising for huskies in need the next one
|
Re: Pub (5th June)
As an alternative suggestion (just to confuse things!) if anybody fancies a run over to Wales I don't mind leading one, was likely going to play over there at some point this weekend anyhow.

Re: Pub (5th June)
Cant make this w/e as will be in Eire.

Re: Pub (5th June)
What's the score for this weekend then? Getting out tomorrow so could tag along maybe. If you know the route and roughly where you'll be I could meet you along the way I just need to be back in Mancland by about 2. Other than that I was looking at getting out somewhere Sunday afternoon a bit later as its still light now getting on for 10.

Yeh Brett are you still going to resurrect the Mister C chip run? Myself, Steve and maybe one or two more I know would be up for it still. Just let us know what time you are thinking of heading out.

Re: Pub (5th June)
I haven't managed to find the switch to make mine fit for the road I'm afraid. Didn't think many were up for it either unfortunately. I'm thinking I'll do it but stick a pin in the calendar further in advance and hope for good weather? If I make a proper thread we can make it stand out to the crowd it was originally intended for, novices, bimblers and just the easy going of us :-)
Hope no-one is too disappointed, Chris is likely still going out but I'd be no good leading with dodgy (no) brake light and overdue general maintenance. I'll do it but ill do it right. |
Pub (5th June)
Cool no worries but should get a BP ride one day like you said. Get that switch found first saw u on the cage again today Brett. Don't know if I'm going for a bimble tomorrow or maybe Sunday now. Will post if I venture on a decent route.

Meeting at shell garage in sandiway at 10:30 then heading over Buxton way if anyone wants to join there are 4 'novices' including me & one has a pillion so gentle pace.
