Thinking of doing at least one of the following on the new bike:

Pembrey, Focussed - Sat, 25 June - £105
Mallory Park, No Limits - Sat, 2 July - £115
Mallory Park, Focussed - Sun, 3 July - £105
Rockingham Superbike Circuit, No Limits - Sat, 9 July - £119
Rockingham International, No Limits - Sun, 10 July - £129

Anyone else up for it?

Also, i would be free for either of the Mallory Days, but thats my Birthday so I might be a little the worse for wear that weekend :p

I have done Rickingham in a car and thought it was fun. AFAIK both Lenny and N8te rider have done it.
However I might be persuaded to do Mallory as a Birthday gift to myself :D
Plus, where im moving to happens to be roughly 10 miles from Mallory Park lol

I can do either or I think. Doubt i can afford both or that my bike could take it.
Will decided closer to the time. Il only be living 3miles from Mallory so anyone is welcome to stop off for a cuppa

Not sure what the Superbike track is like, I think it may be a slightly different version of the International, which in my opinion, is pants. It moves from the inner track, to the oval, and just doesn't flow. The join between the oval and the inner track is like hitting a kerb and they also use traffic calming measures to keep the speeds down. The National circuit however, is effin awesome. My joint top track. It's quite short and quite technical and once you know it, you can do some lovely overtakes in some ridiculous places!

Just looked on the No Limits site at the Mallory day (2nd) on the site it says a 105db limit, however if you download the track info pack, it says 105 for weekdays and 98db for weekends......But it doesnt provide any indication of at what revs they test at.

All i know is my bike is unlikely/very borderline to pass at 98db if they have a noise test similar to Castle Combe.

Phil - Called NoLimits to check. Superbike is, as you say, a slightly different version of International. Thanks for the note on the 'flow' of the tracks. I'd still prefer to do a Saturday TD, rather than Sunday, but sounds like the National is more my thing... Choices, choices!!

Have spoken to No limits about Mallory on the 2nd. They said its actually a 98db day, however the guy said that they dont have any noise testing facilities at the circuit to there should be no issue about noise :D
Also, they said there appears to plenty of space in all groups currently.
Its looking fairly likely ill be booking up :D

Novices - first time on the Daytona, first time at Mallory, and first time with No Limits... pushing it would be a very silly idea!

But doesn't matter if you book onto another - there'll still be at least one session when neither of us is riding lol

I have a flat 3 miles way from Mallory Circuit, so anyone going is welcome to drop by for a break and a brew/crash the night if wanted ( i have a spare room + sofas).

Wish I could come, but I will have just spent the weekend away from the family thr weekend before for the GM, and I have a family gathering on the 3rd as well.

Also not sure how my bike (tyes etc) are going to hold up over the GM, and if anything needed replacing I wouldnt have enough time.

Done, although from memory (i move in next week) the spare room had nothing in it, however by then there may be some form of sleeping apparatus, and failing that an air bed etc can be provided if required.

Yeh thats fine nick.

I have a garage in which all the bikes can be stored in over night and breakfast can be provided also before leaving. (provided nick and myself manage to book:p )

Rockingham on a Saturday would be good (Sunday you lose one session as start at 10am). Is one definately going?

Rockingham Int doesn't look like my thing, judging from the video... flat, no visual references (trees etc), cones to mark down a track designed for cars... I'll think about it a bit more but erring towards the National circuit...

Im doing Donnington GP on the 28th June but also want to do Mallory. Want to improve on my personal best so might book into the fast group for Mallory
