I've moved to the dark side.
 

...and got myself a CBR600RR as a replacement for the SV! Absolutely love it!!!

2005 RR5, 2 owners, 4000 miles FSH, tail tidy, seat cowl and carbon can co exhaust (I thought an unbaffled Fuel was loud on the SV, but it ain't a patch on this one!)

Picked it up on Wednesday - had a great 100 mile ride back home...gave it a good clean, and here's a couple of piccies:

looks nice very stealthy paint job the seat looks a bit non existent though wheres the padding gone.

Nice bike hope to hear it soon. Yep these IL4's spond better than a V twin at full chat screaming away.

The scorpion on my Kwak sonds better than my old SV.

sounds incredible! - prefer the sound to a v twin to be honest....or at least the SV...

BB - I thought you was looking at GSXR's like me........seems we've both ended up with CBR600RR's this week. Nice bike fella love that scheme....I'll have to wait a couple of days to post my own "I've moved to the dark side" thread.

Woohoo another one :cool: I was looking at both the 600rr and the gsxr600

The gsxr was just to small for my legs, I felt like a giant on it.

Good choice though that :cool:

Although the seat looks non existent I dont get half as much of a numb bum on the 600rr to what I did on the sv.

Beautiful mate,yet another rr......with all the rr's & gsxr's this is slowly but surely turning into an il4 forum.

Yessir. I used to live in Saltash - this is 1989 - 1996. When we went out anywhere it tended to be west rather than east, so we knew south east Cornwall well. I love Downderry:D Sigh. I miss living in Cornwall but we go back often coz MIL lives in Falmouth. I'm fairly sure that one day we will go back permanently, we will end up living in her house I guess:D

Went out for a walk on Seaton beach, then to the pub at Downderry last week - very nice, with a terrace overlooking the beach...
