Before and After cafe SV!

Hey Guys and Gals,

A newbie on this site, thought I'd drop a few pics on here.

As you can see, it was a Red Naked, modded to Faired cafe racer.

Hope you like it!

What country are you from, 1st thought was usa, but the last pic looks very european?

Infact, is the last one the Caledonian canal in Scotland?

No, the last one is Pegasus Bridge in Normandy! With the famous Cafe Gondree in the background. The 1st house to be liberated on D-Day.

Looks lovely, I have a love for all things classic, part of me thinks modern cafe racers are wrong but that looks good.

Funnily enough, the thought hadn't occurred to me. I guess they're good for visibilty, being a black bike an all that, but yeah, will see what it looks like with them off.

I don't normally like cafe racer style, but that is VERY well done!

I even managed to find an off the shelf Arai GP 5X in black, white and gold. Too perfect, I had to buy it!

Nice bike, what seat cowl have you fitted? Love the colours, quite JPSesque.

El_Guapo 04-10-08 09:37 AM

Re: Before and After cafe SV!

The seat cowl is imported specially from the US. Very rare in the UK. They don't make them here.

:thumright:That my friend, is by far the most imaginative, and tasteful change to an SV I have seen in a long time. Very very individual, but oh so desireable=P~.

Top work, BTW what fairing is that... Duc 900 ss? or have you already said and I haven't noticed

I would leave them on as it gives the bike that certain , extra , retro charm

El_Guapo 04-10-08 01:36 PM

Re: Before and After cafe SV!

Yes, I was stupid, and got from Poly26, only then discovering twinshack! Poly26 was the inspiration for it, but I got the cowl from the US.
But I love the retro fullfairing as well.
