Congrats on the bike mate, I live in Ormskirk and commute to Mancland every day, you'll love the SV, it's boss!

You're right though, you did get the wrong colour, I've got a black K8, with the right coloured (red) seat!

If you do one thing (apart from buying crash bungs, double bubble screen, new exhaust etc etc), make sure you do the Merseyside BikeSafe course http://www.bikesafe.co.uk/Bikesafe/B...erseyside.html. £80 for invaluable advice and a cracking weekend of riding around the North West.
