Hi....Im another newbie, and thought I would say hi...so, erm..hi! Im based in Dorset most of the time and just wondered how many of you lot, if any, are in and around the county? And if anyone can suggest any weekend rideouts or groups or stuff really?

Only about an hour and half away then. there are some good roads up and down to you.

so many routes to choose. there is a good road that goes from blandford to Shaftsbury ( the back road not the A350) this also has a turn off to Zig Zag hill. Also therre are some great smaller A roads from Blandford up to Shepton mallet. Ill fish out the numbers of them.

Except for tourists in the summer :D

Keep and eye on the South & West Surfers regional section, we do rideouts occasionally that you wont be far from. Also we make regular trips to Poole Quay in the summer to. More than welcome to join us should you wish to.

Yep good fun around there. Drop down into Weymouth and then get on the coast road through Abbostbury and Burton Bradstock, that'll take you into Bridport and you can hop down to West Bay from there. If you want a play the road from Bridport to Crewkerne is quite fun as well. You could then take the Road back from Crewkerne back towards Dorchester and head back home that way.

Beautiful in he summer, cafe on the harbour, bikers haven when the sun is out and as this pic clearly shows, even when it is not!!!
