My ride home tonight

So today was warm in london (a balmy 11 deg.C), so I was really up for a good ride home tonight.

And you know what

I had an absolutle blast  Bike was all cleaned and lubed up yesterday, and feels brilliant, fromt brakes were rebuilt a couple of weeks back, and feel brilliant, no handlebar muffs on today, so the twist grip was light and brilliant (normaly a bit heavy with the muffs on, because of the heated grip cable)

Some days...well, most days in the past couple of months, have just been about getting home. Dosnt matter how long it takes, just get home. Tonight was....get home, and have a cracking good time doing it

I love my Suzuki SV650s-x.

That is all :takeabow:

Hehe same here. Bit of psychology going on... "I haz dark visor hence it must be summer... honest!"

Muahaha pedestrians are so funny when they're scared.

LOL summer R1's. I got an insurance quote on an R1 yesterday (online though) and it was the wrong side of £1000 :( I would really like one...long intervals between valve clearance checks (22,000 miles I believe). And ruddy fast.

Tomorrow is set ot be even warmer (12 deg.C). COuld it be the first day of 2009 that my alpinestars leathers come out?!?!

Was damp and slippery this end, low revs in 4th gear and the back stepped out :( So not pushing it much at all.

Re: My ride home tonight

Yeah I had a good ride out today, it rained yesterday but that meant some of the winter salt gets washed off the road and the mild weather had dried the roads by the time I got on the bike this afternoon. Happy days!

Starting to dry up round here,

I'm off the the best part of this week so cleaning the bike properly and then a good ride out me thinks.

I also don'd the Tinted visor last week, still not exactly warm though.

Pah. I'm not home and I haven't been home. Me, Anne and Gaynor are finishing off a tender document, printing and collating it TEN times - needs to be submitted tomorrow. And before that I did a talk to a Resdidential Landlords Forum, on landlords' repairing obligations in residential tenancies.

Hope someone proof read the tender document! ;)

Deliberate error - we need to prove that we offer innovative solutions, so innovative spelling is part and parcel:D

Isn't the "sneering at people who choose not to ride during the winter" thing just a little bit 20 years ago?
