I think I prefer curvy's..........

Maybe it's the recent knock to the head, but I'm finding more and more that I prefer the look of curvy sv's :o
I've never been one of those people that says pointy's are better etc:rolleyes: I've always liked the look of both bikes. But now I think I'm leaning more towards the older, smoother, curvy look. Everything just seems to flow together better on fully faired curvy's. I don't think the fairings on pointy's merge together so well

Curvy's are ok... but no where near as nice as the TL1000S. I think its the small forks and brakes. Put some after markets on and it looks good :D

this is true, curvies with GSXR front ends or similar conversions do look better. As do curvies with taller screens.

Although i admit that whilst practical, topboxes do not improve the appearance of curvies.

This is true but having seen the "saddlebags" that Bill from US showed on his pictures on the photos section - those I think are pretty good looking on his curvy

Curvy looks are better than the pointies.

However i'd prefer the fuel injection and better engine (ie no silly plastic clutch cover and silver engine etc)

Is it that different in size to the curvy engine?

You mean physical dimensions? Its still a 650 lump (654cc as far as i know) but apparently its all a lot smoother now. I expect frame-mounting points etc etc are all differant though

Does anyone know of someone whos mounted an FI engine in a curvy frame?

Same engine I think, at least all of the SV's used basically the same engine, at least, although the cover changed into a one piece o.o

i think the gladius is the same basic engine just with bit's and bob's done to it.

I've seen a few polished, spotless pictures of the curvy S which I like, not to sure on the curvy N, but pointy N I quite like.. hence why I bought one ;)

But overall I prefer the pointy, so a blow to the head I'll +1 that.
