i only have a smoke when iv had a drink , i wont touch one before at any time , i just fancy one after the alcohol has kicked in , i smoked for 16 years before but have given up for 7 years now , apart from my alcohol smoking ;)

If I se a mate smoking and I fancy smoking I have one or a few drags off a friends, Dont do it much, once every couple of weeks. Dont do it when I'm drunk though

I smoke when I'm sober anyway, but I find I smoke a lot more if I'm drinking as well

I gave up the daytime cigars, had to give up the drinking as well otherwise I'd just drink more so I could smoke!

I do enjoy a cigar with a pint though

Iv been stopped smoking four years , but i do the pished smoking as well its not good I enjoy them too much . Glad I would rather buy unleaded than fags keeps me off them

Like an alcoholic, 1 day at a time, 18 months now.

Heck if i had even one drag when drunk, i'd be back on 20 a day by the morning (Happened once after nearly 3 years of quitted).

Never again!

I have been a passive smoker for the past 20 years. just woke up one day and decided that I didn't need another cig

By that I will go outside to talk to friends who are still addicted and don't moan at 3am when the doors are locked with me inside if a cig is lit.

Smoke sober, but alot more when I am out on the bike, drinking or on holiday.

Alcohol and Fags is not good, as theyre not supposed to be lit from the filter end.. :drunken:

Don't have to have a fag, none of this I neeeeed one..
I enjoy it, and can turn it off and on when I like, to suit the circumstance.

Never smoked but i know Treacle gets a craving for one after a few pints, he quit not long after we got together and has only has 2 cigerettes since (one at his friends funeral and one after he binned my bike)

I don't have a smoking addiction/habit, it just turns into a routeine..

Stop for a break on the bike, have a smoke.. etc.

I quit about 9 months ago.

Allan Carr´s book "The Easy Way" really helped me out, and to be honest I haven´t had any cravings since quitting. I feel annoyed with myself now, that I smoked for so many years before quitting.

I only smoke when out on the bike, when drinking or on holiday (IOM TT was a bad week for me last week!)

Gave up everyday smoking about 4 years ago - now I make a 12.5gm pouch of tobacco last about 6-8 weeks :lol:

Quit 7 or 8 years ago as well.

Two times I get cravings is when sitting al fresco outside a bar and someone starts smoking at the next table and I catch it on the wind, and second is at rideouts when you stop and all the smokers get the fags out.

Have given in when ****ed a few times, but never on a rideout, and I still enjoy a smoke, but nowadays I hate the nicotine aftertaste from a cigarette.

I will smoke cigars when they are floating about (weddings, etc), and I have a good friend who lives in Mexico and quit cigareetes, but smokes a couple cigars a day. We meet up for one week per year and ride bikes, talk sh!t, drink whisky, and smoke 10 cigars a day. Don't ask me why, we both used to smoke 20 cigarattes a day when we were students, we used to enjoy the occasional night on whisky and cigars, and old habits die hard.
