The wonders of S Doc 100...

Before
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...t/S2010019.jpg

Spray on some S Doc. Go inside and watch tv for a bit...........

Wipe with a sponge then hose off........

After

Ok so it's not perfect but it's minimal effort. Plus I haven't cleaned it since last year. I bet it would look a lot better if I sprayed it every week

I know you guys are in love with this stuff but can i offer you a challenge Darren?

Wait till your downpipe is that bad again (so about 2 weeks lol) and just use the geen scratchy side of a sponge and some water with a teeny tiny bit of washing up liquid in it and post up your results. I bet it'll be pretty much the same if not better.

i know its easier to spary on and watch telly of course  but £15 is alos a lot to pay for that effect.

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

You just need a bit of :toss: & Autosol to make that perfect.

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

Yeah that.. it'd need to be free to buy any amount of boxes at that price too. :)

I love my bike:smt007, but I ain't gonna spend days cleaning it, if I can do it quicker. I don't get the calvinist cleaning vibe-I mean do we have to spend days using woad and frog spawn to clean it, or we don't love it enough?;)

Not sure because when I got it done I was getting the whole bike done. I just told him the standard paint colour (YD8 sonic silver) and he got it.

I do love my bike. And I love riding it. But I don't love cleaning it.
I've polished my downpipe with autosol before. I know how long it took and how much effort. And I know how bloody quickly it was brown again.
I've only bought one bottle of s doc and I've only used it 3 times. For that amount of cleaning and effort you couldn't say the pipe looks terrible could you?

How much autosol do you go through, how much time do you sped under your bike?

Terrible!

Use the Car Plan wonder wheels one, find is the best (the one voted for by all the car mags)

or the Swarfega one, works well by my standards!

About a tube every 6 months to a year. I'm a stingy Northerner and I can get plenty for my money out of a tube. Plus its all in the wrist :smt043

I usually wash two bikes at a time. I take two days to wash, scrub and polish them. One day to wash, dry over night, one to polish....them both.I don't have a lot of time on my hands, my bike is filthy for weeks at a time(whichever I'm riding at the time)but I take my time, do it proper and it lasts nice and shiny for ages(under all the crap).

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

2 days!!!!!:o Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

I'd rather my bike looked like yorkie chris's than spend 2 days cleaning it

I don't even spend 2 hours cleaning mine.

dizzyblonde 20-06-09 09:21 PM

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

Like I said, thats two bikes.

You really wouldn't want your bike to look like YCs....its icky!

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

Ok this is confusing me. What do you do to make it last 2 days?

Sally 21-06-09 02:32 PM

Re: The wonders of S Doc 100...

15 minutes, once per month or so, give it a quick sponge wash, re apply ACF50.

Sorted.

2 days? :\

Wow.
