Horror film from the 90's?
 

Hi all,

for many many years now ive been trying to find a horror film from my child hood, so it could be anywhere from the earlie 90's to late.

all i can tell you is what i remeber and the most significant things i remeber is at one point a black lady is being pulled from one sode of the door as people/one person is pulling her to keep her in the room and her arm comes off.

i also remeber the song at the end being 'Craig david - Rewind'

for some reason green smoke also rings a bell.

i hope someone can help as ive literlly been looking for over 5 years.

Is there anything else you remember?? I am a complete film buff as I use to be a satelite manager for Blockbusters. I love a challenge.

The song was "Rewind" by the Artful Dodger Featuring Craig David and was nearer to the Millenium than it was into the earlier 90`s , so this may help with the Google-Fu .

actually craig davids song rewind was released in 2000 so it would be some time between then and after

The only thing I can find in reference to the Artful Dodger being in any films (apart from Oliver Twist references) is a film called "The Reckoning" and that sounds more like a Whodunnit from 2003 .

Not House on Haunted Hill is it ??? bit early for the soundtrack but they did Return to House on Haunted Hill in 2007 ????

Maybe : Tales from the Crypt , Demon Knight .

My online search says that Jada Pinkett Smith was in it and her arm gets ripped off but the film was from 1995 .

Are you sure that song was in it ?

Some other clues may help as well as to what type of film it was .... Zombie , slasher etc etc

I really wish I remembered more. I'm pretty sure that song was right at the end just before and then throught the credits . House black woman loosing arms either green smoke or green eyes and that song is all I remember :( I really have to find this film.

The green eyes, the black lady loosing an arm. those two boxes ticked and i think thats the one but i swear that craig davids song was at the end.

could there have been a remake? or an updated one ?

As far as I can remember the Demon Knight Soundtrack was very METAL . With the likes of Pantera , Sepultura and Machine Head being some that I can remember off the top of my head being in the film .

id watched a few clips including parts with green type smokeyness green eyes and a lady getting her arm ripped off. seems to tick those boxes but the song doesnt fit?

Here is the trailer for it , not too terrible but it may give kiddies a bit of a fright so be warned , check that out and see if it rings familiar .............. the song will deffo not be in that film though .

maybe the songs not related at all and that ive sub conciously put the song to the film ?

i may go try and find it in my local blockbuster and maybe, just maybe itll reveal all.
another film i remeber around that time too was marz attacks. i spend 90% of the time behind the sofa.

I seriously find kids programs ........... creepy .

I am one of those people , that when faced with Horror films and people and things getting slashed and mutilated , it doesn`t bother me as I know it is special effects . And I am not too squeemish when it comes to holding a towel on a colleagues severed fingers ............... but I watch something that "Suggests" things to me and I practically cack Breeze Blocks ............ you may laugh but Blair Witch Project has me right on edge and halving the life expectancy from these here energy efficient eco bulbs .

have you tried working laterally. I suspect there must be a database online which lists music in films? maybe look up artful dodger/craig david in film....?

Done that . I even did searches on "Film Score Database" and quite a few variants and what was there was poor to say the least . IMDB is usually my first stop for Actor/Film searches . That was where I found the reference to "The Reckoning" , we got posted a very hard task to say the least and the Music could be misleading , if it is not then we are highly likely to be looking for a British made Film .

Mine was a wild guess as I seemed to remember Green being in the film a lot and it was on TV at some point last year , I only watched it because of the Metal Soundtrack . Glad you have confirmed it Bluewolf .

Dont give up, last night it took me an hour to find a film I wated when I was about 12 and it scared the life out of me when I watched it and for years on it did. I didn't know the name, I found it in the end.
