Very smart!

I've gotta picture of me and my old man like that taken at a black tie do - that was a sight to see - probably never see him dressed like that again! - had to drag him to the shop to hire the whistle!

Perfectly true, I'm wicked through and through.

But I can confirm that I do wear boxers. SK, can you?

I can confirm only one thing about scrubbing up. I know how to use scrubs to my advantage.

And yes, she turned out to be quite well. I had to check a few times throughout the evening to make sure of course.

Ed, very nice photo, but when i saw it earlier today i was sure i had seen the material and pattern of your bow tie somewhere before, but i couldn't remember where. i racked my brains trying to remember where but to no avail. Then tonight bev asked me to go and get a clean tea towel out of the airing cupboard, and there it was, my favourite tea towel was the exact same pattern, and i'm sure it was shorter than it used to be. I'll have to keep an eye on you when you came for a coffee again. :D

Barwel, be careful with those boots. I had some like that until my gf left me and ran off with them. I'm traumatised by the experience, and have never dated someone with the same shoe size ever again! :smt009

Awwww, no way is that awful, you both look really lovely. By the way, love the boots. I bought my Ex-Boyfriend a pair like that for his Birthday. Mind you he needed them because he has a complex about my being an inch taller than him when I was in heels!

She does look pretty fab there. I had similar contact lenses a while back, but found that after awhile they would turn around and I would have one vertical and one horizontal. My Gran used to complain though and said it made me look more ugly than usual. She has a great way with words and hated it when I got all gothed up! :smt041

Nothing better than a man in a kilt! Yet to see a man who doesn't look handsome in a kilt and jacket.

There might be exceptions. I once had a whole bar full of women screaming at me when I walked past in black kilt and battered old bike jacket. I didn't realise that I looked so awful ;-)

You've seen one now. My wife looks great in that dress though! :smt057

(PS: Talk about brownie points, I drove round just about every Debenhams in the Midlands to find and buy those blue shoes!)

Wow, now that I will admit does sound pretty grim. I always thought that a kilt was used to show Clan colours and was part of a ceremonial dress code, so would a black kilt not just be a man skirt?

Sorry, only teasing. Was it a black leather kilt? I seem to recall from the late 80s to early 90s that a cirtain gay French Fashion designer was trying to push black leather kilts for guys.

Beautiful photo of you both, you look great in your kilt too. Well done on the shoes, that would have got you a bit more than just brownie points surely, maybe a day of being worshipped as a God? :smt041

Hmm, shoes... :smt050

Re: I scrub up quite well

Steady on guys, I just look like me in a kilt!

Yes, I chose the shoes while she was trying on the dress, but Debenhams in Birmingham didn't have the right size. Kilted Gingers wedding was the following weekend, and one day during the week I had a meeting cancelled and a free day, so I phoned Debenhams HQ to find every store that stocked that brand of shoes and went on the hunt, found them in Leicester and bought them home as a surprise.

YC - :smt046 next time you wear a suit you'll be going to jail ;), you do scrub up well though mate!
