Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

hello guys and girls, Am new to this forum even tho i had my old Sv650s 10 years lol.. been told alot of you pop up the farmers on a wednesday night and looking over the last post ie 7th just gone just wanted to know if this a weekly thing or every over week or what the deal is really..

If anyone would be going this comming wednesday ill pop down..

What sort of time do people head out or aim to get there by? Also is the farmers arms In kelsall town? ie turn left at teh lights befor the hill ? altho i worked in chester for 3 years i never really take much notice around there so not sure where the pub is.

Well let me tell you abit about me. am 27 untill may, had Sv650s for about 10 years sexy blue, gillers rear set, pazzo shorts, hi lvl link pip with scorpan blue flame can, dubble bubble screen iridium, hel brake / cluch lines, Carbs moded, K&N filters airbox removed totaly,Jason race disks,a sexy blue gold and silver colour, was saving up for the gixxer fork convert then on july 24th going to the little tescos in cledford middlewich on warmingham road and this old guy just pulled out no warning right across the road blocked it off when i was about 20 foot away and WAM!

Oh and to top it off he drove over my right sholder haha guess he wanted to make sure i was not getting up lol...

soon as i sore my bike that was it.. i felt the water comming out my eyes :-(

got a GSXR 1000 k2 red black silver 8000 miles for £2500 happy days, but cos i could'nt ride it my old man picked it up from his mates, 6 months later sold it to him and for his SV650s the yellow one am on now. + some cash.. so am back to squar one lol.. O well just put some new dog bones on it to jack the back up abit.

thats about it.. really

Done lots of track days got on the last track day at donie park befor they ripped it up, now they gone bust :-( silly fools, do alot of hunting clay pigeon shooting, fishing flying, anything that gets me out the house really..

well hope to get to know alot of you peeps over the comming year. and maybe ill see you on wednesday if i can find the pub :P..

p.s forgive the crap spelling am abit dyslexic lol..

Think I'm right in saying that the meets at the Farmer's Arms or every 2 weeks, meaning the next one is 21st April.

If so, you can always pop up to the Scotch Piper on 14th April?

I'll call along to the Farmers Arms on Wednesday at about 7:15pm. If no-one is there no worries, will be out and about anyway (putting some miles on new rubber) so no problem to call in as it's close to home.

Preston 12-04-10 07:32 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

I just don`t enjoy the scotch piper anymore.... way too many bikes and a nightmare to park. If bike passes mot i`ll turn up at the Farmers :D

Ib1, you will be fine, we were all newbies once. The peeps of the org are a nice bunch of people & will make you feel very welcome. 1st meet I went to I sat in a corner on my own, but Quiff came over nattering & that broke the ice.
In fact, tell you what, if you want to go I will meet up with you somewhere & ride down with you, cant say fairer than that :)

Nice one, thanks. Usually the minute I open my mouth people realise they can't understand a word & wander off!

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Bike passed MOT but i think my chain is knackered as it keeps needing adjusting. Col am I being cheeky if I were to ask you to bring something to adjust my chain? Don`t want to risk riding there and back with a slack chain :(

mister c 13-04-10 03:37 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Not a problem Claire, strangely for a Suzuki I actually still have the full tool kit, so will put my overalls on lol :)

Speedy Claire 13-04-10 03:49 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

many thanks Col, would really appreciate it and i`m so jealous of your full tool kit lol. See you tomor... what time you guys getting there

mister c 13-04-10 04:51 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Should be there same time as Chris about 7.15 ish

christopher 13-04-10 05:32 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

If it helps I have (as far as I'm aware) a full Suzuki tool kit on my bike, I don't know what to do with half of the things in it... but you're free to use it if you need anything out of it. No idea if anything will be different on curvy/pointy etc.

Speedy Claire 13-04-10 06:35 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Thanks Chris.. half of mine is missing but i`m sure between you and Col we`ll have everything we need.

Will see there tomor and hopefully Grey Rider will be coming along with me so hopefully that`s 3 potential newbies!!!

Awww why don`t you come to the farmers? You`re only 10 mins or so from me and I could meet you somewhere along the way?

Nobbylad 13-04-10 08:43 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

'Cos I normally don't get home from Mancland until 6pm or just after and then by the time Nobbylass is geared up and we've sorted the kids out, time is marching on!

What time are you leaving yours and when/where are you meeting the others?

Speedy Claire 13-04-10 08:45 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

I see what you mean, would be a bit of a rush for you. I`m meeting Grey Rider at 6.30 then we`d get to Kelsall around 7.15.. we are usually there for a couple of hours tho if you came along later?

Nobbylad 13-04-10 09:02 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Where are you meeting Grey?

Speedy Claire 13-04-10 09:36 PM

Re: Farmers Arms Wednesday 14th

Am meeting at that small petrol station on Scotland Road, just on the left before the entrance to the new tunnel?
