Ooh, hope that it is gift wrapped for you! Little tip, a foam mat on the floor makes hugging and cuddling of new toys much more comfortable than sitting on the road/Garage floor.

Enjoy.

Lou, will take a look at the weekend when I pick the pipes up. You should have it looking immaculate by then.

Every day is an excuse for cake:D

And I can see you looking Peg, the place just rang to make sure you were picking it up.

Oh and don't forget the Bakewell tarts on your way home ;-)

Roar? Don't you mean the "phut phut phut" of standard pipe :-P

dizzyblonde 04-05-10 10:31 AM

Re: Waiting for the roar down the street....

Well I did think that after I wrote the title.

However I have a sneaky suspicion they won't be standard for long. Somethings in the pipeline.
Besides probably still louder than yours as standard..hehehe
As long as it doesn't sound like a fart in a bath I'll be happy :-) Haven't heard standard cans on one for years!

No:mad:

Had a lot of feck ups with swapping insurance and renewal, found out last week I'd got a **** up, so wasn't insured for any of them!
Then the dealer found the rear disc was cracked before they took it for MOT, so had to wait for some more. Bleddy barstwerdds. Pegs train is delayed, so waiting even more
Gowwd I'm an impatient mare!

It's not too bad with standard pipes, obviously not a s good as some nice loud race cans

Last time I rode a raptor it had the standard cans on it

It picks up like no tomorrow, brakes need a bit of a fettle, as they are a bit grabby from being stood, even though its had a workout for 88 miles today.
Yes, I only went twice round the block, in Pegs gear, only in first gear, but this thing shifts like no tomorrow when you pull on the beans:smt025 Do you really think preggers burd halfway through a pregnancy could resist???

Needs proper cans though, way too quiet, couldn't hear YC when he had a go himself!

Lucky you. I do like the style of it but I would want to rip off the headlight and put something simpler instead.

There is the nakid one, which is more popular. The 1000 or the 650, which is actually an SV650 engine.
