**$£$%@? Parcelfarce!

I bought a wing mirror for my van this week and despite the superb packaging from the seller, it was broken when it arrived yesterday. :smt013

I can only presume the game of football they were playing with it went into extra time!

Then I get an Email from a guy that bought a perfectly good set of Gixxer wheels from me earlier this week.

I packed them well! Very well. Tripple wrapped in big bubble wrap, then corrugated cardboard packing, then more bubble wrap and then in a big box.
I then wrote "FRAGILE!" all over the package!
He's just got in touch to say there's a huge flat spot in the rear and three flat spots in the front wheel and its Buckled!

HOW?! How the hell do they do it? Its impossible! Do they go out of their way to do this?

Bloody morons!

If I make a claim the wheels become theirs. So I can't get them fixed and resell them and I lose the postage both ways!

Rant over! :smt013

I anticipated a rant over those 'attempted delivery' slips, despite you being sat home waiting all day keeping a vigil; but thats worse.

Stop using parcelforce, UPS is much better.

I've used Parcel monkey for all my big awkward parcels, including a GSXR front wheel

http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/

They collect from where you specifiy and your item is tracked & insured.

Up to 10kg delivered next day for £5.85 plus Vat

Great service and no problems so far

I'll never use Parcelfarce again

We use Drop it, Hide it, Lose it

Not had much trouble with them apart from a lost pair of gazebo feet which was found within a week of reporting missing.

I send about 25 ebay items a day out with Royal Mail and Parcelforce and have never had a problem. We send stuff all over the world and it arrives on time and undamaged, nothing gets lost either.

They must hate you

Courier (think it was ParcelFarce), upon finding me not home, hoyed my parcel (Fallout 3 Collector's Ed.) over the gate at the side of my house into the very obviously unused and overgrown path where it sat outside and exposed to the elements for a MONTH. No card was left. It was absolutely soaking when I spotted it, managed to dry it out but some parts like the art book were almost ruined.

Laptop sent back to Dell in Ireland, the courier arrives with a box to put it in, tech guy phoned and asked what the fault was, told him graphics card had blown, he said the screen was smashed too!

Needless to say I was bricking it when I bought my Macbook off eBay, but the guy put so much packaging around it it arrived in pristine condition.

You need to mail yourself some Nitroglycerine. That will teach them to take the P out a fragile label.
