Chips Away. When having it fixed RIGHT THIS MINUTE just isn't good enough!

Its Friday afternoon. Its a bank holiday weekend, I think Wednesday is excellent!.

It would be if I didn't have a job interview Tuesday, and my car is vital for the job :(

Would you prefer it was your bike he reversed into?

Re: My stooopid neighbourgh...

Erm it's a dent and a scrape, nothing fish and chip related.

I'd have preferred it if she hadn't reversed into anything??

are you going to be judged on whether your car has a small chip/dent in it?

Sort of Keith, without going into loads of detail I need the car for the job. And it needs to look normal lol

Re: My stooopid neighbourgh...

Get it booked into a Bodyshop under your neighbours Policy - Courtesy Car should be supplied - sorted.

Forget ChipsAway - both 'repairs' completed by their different franchise guys were frankly crap. every repair I have had done at a local bodyshop were 1st class and no hassle.

Just my 2 pence worth...

tactcom7 27-08-10 02:13 PM

Re: My stooopid neighbourgh...

Sounds like a plan, just ruined by bank holiday plans of doing nothing that's
all! Oh well. Bodyshop it is then.

Re: My stooopid neighbourgh...

If the neighbour is offering to pay I would get it in a bodyshop myself and not chips away. What car is it? Why devalue it any more than you have to for no fault of your own.

As for the job interview, do they want you or the car? Surely you can explain that there was a minor mishap that is being sorted and if you come across and Mr Wonderful they will employ you anyhow.

Good luck with the job interview mate and get ya bike used while the car is in the body shop ... good excuse :)

Chips away use a fast drying paint that usually looks ok for a bit then after a few months looks nothing like a match. Bodyshop the car mate, the only way u will get a decent job.

You should have lied and said it was the bike, you wouldn't have been able to get 'em to shut up in that case!

Well it's like this officer.
My wife just happened to be reversing her car while I was doing the ...er...legal limit in the street-or was it round Clarks corner at Knockhill??
Anyway I think if you call Chips Away they'll repair the damage in no time!!!
