1000 Miles in 1st Month
 

:smt026Passed my bike test on 1st of September and got to ride my brand new SV Sport. Month anniversary of that momentus occasion tomorrow and have just put mile 1000th on my SV. My mates got a 13 year old ZZR600 and its only got 9k miles on it - should pass that within the year!

Been riding for a year now and still rushed home after work, just cos the sun was shining and went out for a quick blat up the road.

Only downside over the month was not clicking the seat cowl on properly and even tho' I found it it was ficked:( Managed to get one off fleabay at 1/2 list price (£93 for a bit of plastic - robbing gits)

God, I love my SV:D

got home from america on august 26th, on 1400miles since and i have had no money to run or replace the rear tyre but thats what credit cards are for

Keep the work rate up. I've managed 14.5k in exactly 2 years to the day!

Think I did it in 5 days on the Triumph... had a shortened schedule though, because I wanted to get up to GM2 and have a play. Just ticked over 14k in month 15 ;)

Keep up the good work though... bikes aren't just for sunny sundays.

I've managed about 150 miles in a month! Hardcore yeah baby.

Did nearly 2k in my versys's first month but then again I had no job at the time... calmed down alot since though, pretty much just around town and commuting

I did about 1k in 6 weeks of the SV, although a big part of that was the AR.

I didn't mean to start a competition, I was just being proud of myself achieving my 1/3 of last years mileage on my VT125 in just 1 month on the SV:D.

Did about 2500 miles in my first month - that included a week off to tour the highlands though :-)
