Anyone ever missed a speed awareness course?

Well I was meant to be on a speed awareness course on saturday morning and like the disorganised forgetful plum I am totally forgot about it until this afternoon.

Has anyone else done this? Can you reorganise it? Am I stuck with the points and fine or can they get hefty with it?

Cheers in advance

Toby

Oooh I dunno I would defo creep to the powers that be on that one.

I would think you would get the one chance and if you fail you get the points, may have to pay the costs of the course.

I would explain you have been a silly billy, just be honest. What will be will be.

Just say you had the squits and couldn't find the phone number to call to say you couldn't make it. No one wants to talk about the squits so I doubt they'd pry too much. :)

I done a course a couple of months ago and the paperwork with mine said quite explicitly that if you miss it you will go back to the points and fine without a refund for the course fees. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

That was with the Met Police so it may be different where you are.

Imagine how ironic it would be to get a speeding ticket on the way to a speed awareness course :p

Ha, one of my colleagues got flashed by a speed camera on the way home from a speed awareness course! No excuse at all.
