I like to do mine bit by bit. As in, when I take a bit off to fix it I'll clean it.

fairplay to the guy but i'd rather give it a blast with a steam cleaner then be out riding the thing instead of spending hours cleaning it on a dry day

I agree, it would take you nearly a whole day or at least all of a morning to do all of this.. But it does make your pride and joy all shiny and pretty, lol.

Maybe if I was rich enough to not have a job...but then I'd probably be doing other interesting things. Bloody hate cleaning bikes.

I always do this once a year... usually just before it p1sses down with rain when I'm out riding

Mine gets a wash about once a month to remove the half inch of dead flies on the front

Mine looked like Lozzo's last time I was away and I was riding on cleanish roads

My bike is for commuting, not for cleaning.
Haven't cleaned it since October.

However, at our motorcycle parking lot at work
(UCL) there's always a shiny big BMW. The
owner obviously cleans it thoroughly every day.
Unhealthy, methinks.

I used to spend hours cleaning my car when I was a teenager/20's but can't be asked now. If the 1997 Ka gets really dirty I pay this guy £5K but he wont do bikes! ;)
