ARTNW/NTRN Finalised details.

While sorting out riding down to this with Mike (Chandler) I actually realised how close this is. There are a couple of things I could do with knowing, and I don't have time to read all the old threads:

1) what time are people meeting up at the site on Friday?

2) What time are people leaving?

3) Is there a supermarket in Wem?

4) What are the eating arrangement facilities? The cafe on site looks good, but will it cope with everyone?

Cheers,
Dan

I'm planning on getting there around midday, so I can chill out for the rest of the afternoon.
I'll probably leave about midday on the Sunday as well.
There is shops I believe in wem as I remember Ed mentioning this, I'm planning on riding over before to have a gander around so will sus out the good shops for booze etc.
The last one I can't answer ;)

1) what time are people meeting up at the site on Friday? - anytime you want from 11am. I'll be there early to meet and greet and frighten you all off

2) What time are people leaving? I'll be one of the last so as to clear up any mess, not that there will be any:D

3) Is there a supermarket in Wem? Yes, a Co-Op. It has everything you might need, yes those included:safe:

4) What are the eating arrangement facilities? The cafe on site looks good, but will it cope with everyone? Yes, they are used to large numbers. There are several food places in Wem though, so you won't go hungry:chef:

Cheers,
Dan

's OK:D

If anyone wants anything bringing there - I will be there in the Disco - so loads of room to fetch things. It's a bit muddy and it smells a bit cos I used it for carrying some horse manure but as long as it comes in tins or shrink wrapped it should be OK;)

I was toying with the idea of coming in the truck with the bike on the trailer. That way if anyone (Claire ;)) wanted anything carrying I could do + could bring the electric george formby grill my dads got. Its so good, I put my food on it...

And I could go get industrial supplies of beer in it :) DP isnt coming right? Don't think the warrior could carry that much ;)

That would be brilliant if you did...... I`m gonna have to take a tent and sleeping bag etc but if I could throw them in your car that would be fantastic :D I could drop them off at yours the night before. Will chat nearer the time and see what you plan on doing

I'm leaning towards the car for this 1, will be lugging all the camping gear up and around Scotland twice in the next couple of months so might take advantage of this being local. Can be a tart and bring my camp bed! So consider me your mule for the weekend :D

Can sort out on the 9th on Petes rideout

Sounds fab :D shall plan it nearer the time but if you could take tent, sleeping bag and airbed for me that would be one heck of a great help and less for me to worry about when packing the bike up. Huge thanks :thumright:

You can order your t-shirts and hoodies from our site.

I am offering two options, you can either order your clothing direct to your front door before the weekend, or if you want to save a few pennies then you can collect from me on the weekend.

I am on the hunt for a tent, I want to find the smallest and lightest tent I can along with a nice sleeping bag which is also small, I hate carrying stuff on the bike, lol.

Any recommendations.

Have a practice run first. I built mine up in the front room when I first got it. :D

Putting them up is pretty straightforward. It's taking them down and fitting them back in the bag afterwards that's the tricky bit IME.

I thought that as I have no grass at the back of the house I wouldn`t be able to do a test run but the lounge is a good idea :D

Are you coming into Heysham port Matt?

Re: ARTNW/NTRN Finalised details.

Thanks speedyclaire! lol, And yes minimorecambe more than likely, but that will be thursday. Then were gonna stop the night in Frodsham, debating the best way to head up there friday morning, i can get to Warrington seen i lived there for 16 years no problem. Did someone say the A49 or something or the other almost leads you too it out of Warrington? Or back to the original point, i can get back to Heysham easily also.

Alternitavly i know how to get on both the M6 and M62 :P. Cheers Matt.

There`s a few of us meeting on Friday morning at the Farmers Arms in Kelsall, Cheshire.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...ngdom&t=h&z=14

that might be the best option for you if you`re stopping overnight in Frodsham
