Street Triple 2012

Like it a lot, maybe because it has familiar head light to the curvy :D

Will upgrade to one when they start appearing in the used showroom

I prefer the new style lights the old ones looked dated. Still would have on as the bike is truly iconic for then

+1 , but with a curvy S type half fairing. Then I think it would look lush :smt016

I sat on a new speed triple Saturday morning... It was damn comfy, really felt part of it compared to the old one.

Put my name down to try the tester when they get it in :D

Street triple looks fun and light though.

carelesschucca 29-03-11 08:52 PM

Re: Street Triple 2012

You should, try the R if you like to push on a bit, its a little stiffer...

What a monstrosity.

About the only "streetfighter" you could happily crash and put fairings back on it.

I'd have one!

I like the lights.

I quite liked the Street Triple - I had a go on one last year and thought it was fun.

Really don't like those lights though.... they look like I've fitted them - wonky and possibly upside down.

The old lights look better without that little fly-screen thing. With it, I prefer the new lights.

I'll be honest I wasn't really looking at the bike in this picture

Street Triple - now officially chickwheels courtesy of Ms Jolie.

So apart from the amazing new lights that everyone loves so much, what are the major changes from last generation? :D

missyburd 31-03-11 12:40 PM

Re: Street Triple 2012

Angelina Jolie rides a bike?

And I'd have to agree with the majority, old lights are MUCH better, new ones are making my eyes bleed

I'm going to make an edumacated guess and say probably very little. If it ain't broke don't fix it (what am I saying?!).

I don't like the lights.

She and Brad rode their BMW's around Namibia a few years back, he was on a 1200 she a 650.

I like the new lights!

sauluk 31-03-11 07:47 PM

Re: Street Triple 2012

Those new lights look awful. The old ones were classic and perfectly suited.

In the 2011-2012 cr@p lights competition these take the cake, followed closely by replacing the xenon light in the GSXR's with something from the 80's!

Re: Street Triple 2012

I'd love a stripr but not one dressed as Su Pollard TYVM. I want the special edition speed triple with the red and white stripe paint job. Those new lights put me right off the new models... Fugly is the word.
