Hi from a new member

hi,

my name is Alastair and I am 20. I am an engineering student based at Exeter and when I am not at uni I live near Bristol.

I have been driving a car since I was 17 and recently I have been out on the back of two of my friends bikes, one Honda CBR600 from back home and one Triumph Sprint down here in Exeter. On the CBR we went around Somerset and Cheddar gorge and I knew it was fun in a car but it was terrifying on the back of a bike, but i loved every minute of it! And on the Sprint the roads around Dartmoor were just amazing on a sunny spring day :)

Since going on their bikes I have become addicted to being on a bike and have decided this summer after I turn 21 I am to learn to ride a bike and end up with a SV650 if all goes to plan.

In my free time I am also a photographer who is passionate about military aviation and equestrian activities there are some pictures on my website (link below) and I also enjoy outdoor activities such as mountaineering and downhill biking.

I mentioned that I am a photographer and hope that giving links to my site is allowed, my website is http://www.masterplan-photography.co.uk/ and there are pictures from the last two rides I went out on http://www.masterplan-photography.co...iking-somerset and http://www.masterplan-photography.co...iking-dartmoor

I hope to meet some of you this summer on my bike if all goes to plan

alastair

yea, I think I know who I am going to go with, had a long chat with them earlier about costs and duration etc and there seem to be good reviews about them online :)

Oh how I'd like to have Cornwall on the doorstep in the summer. Good luck with the training. Get yourself some good kit before you go.
Cris.

Oh and find out if they do a zero-to-hero course and compare the price with just plain direct access if thats what you're going with. If you have to retake the mod 1 or 2 course you could find yourself spending an extra £200+ each time.

Hi Alistair, sounds like you've got the biking bug! Love your website, the bird and equestrian photos especially touching a chord with me. Best of luck with the photography and get cracking with that bike licence, I always thought being pillion was fantastic but it's the most amazing feeling to be in control, you won't look back! :-)

You Sir have a great eye for a picture, and from your avatar picture, you have great eyebrows for a great eye.
